Disappointed in my Flail Mower. What's Wrong?

I'm running 540 as the mower is designed for and considering how nicely these "spoon" type cutters do on deep, heavy brush, I'd love to see what the Y blades do. Considering my experience though, no need to change.

Different knives for different jobs. Once you get it knocked down those finish knives will do okay.
