One advantage of growing old is "senior" discounts.....always ask for them! As for coupons.....absolutely! Also.....if you're a AAA or AARP menber......show your card....lots of discounts for things you'd never guess.

Jerrybob...I do belong to AAA, but there are probably many in my situation...I buy so few consumer goods and dine out so rarely and go to so few places, such discounts are almost never available to me. Funny thing is, the age for senior discounts seems to vary all over, some places say 60 years old, some 62, some 65...and when I hit 65 in 3 years and 3 months, my long term barber will give me a discount on haircuts but I am not going to ask for it, for me $3 a month is a pittance, and as a struggling small business owner can use every dollar.

We tried the oven baking stones just not happy with them

We've got one of those, but the only time it's used is when we buy frozen pizzas at the grocery store.

One of the frozen pizza companies is REALLY working to sell their pizzas. They sent us a coupon that was about 3x6 that had a magnet glued to the back so you could put the coupon on the fridge!:laughing::laughing: I guess the figured if it was on the fridge you might remember to buy the pizza. :D:D:D We tossed the coupon though. That pizza brand is good but not as good nor as cheap as Pappa Johns.:laughing::laughing:

Dan, I suspect a lot of the pizza companies are having a tough time. I've got several coupon here in the desk that are on one card that was hung on our front door from Domino's "MEGA MAY" for any medium or large pizza (no limit), up to 5 toppings for $8.99.

Pizza is very profitable. Once heard Pappa John state that one pizza unit cost about $1.33 cents to make.

I see that CiCi's Pizza hasn't been mentioned. It may not be the best pizza in town, but it's the best deal, since there's also the salad bar and pasta and delicious cinnamon rolls, and an apple dessert pizza.
