I had a 14 foot "Big Blue" disc by Burch (24" diameter blades x 1/4" thick x 9" spacing) back when I farmed and pulled it with a Ford 9000 (120 HP)with dual rear wheels. It was all that tractor wanted when wheels were up. It have 4 each 11:00 x 16" transport tires that we filled with water for extra weight. I like the pull type rather than 3 PH for better cutting, easier to hitch up too. They do seem to pull harder than the same size 3 PH style although I have an 8 foot 3 PH style similar to the one EA posted. In wet conditions I will sometimes have to raise it up to pull it thru even with my 70HP in 4 wd with loaded tires. I have pulled it in dry conditions (dirt hard as concrete) with my 45 HP Yanmar but it did spin the wheels a lot after about 3 passes when it got down to axle cutting depth.
I would hazard a guess that you may be able to pull an 8 foot disc with your tractor given the right conditions. If going gets tough, just raise the lift to carry some of the weight. I don't think I would try for a pull type without wheels unless you want to be getting stuck a lot.
