Used Hyd oil is filtered, mixed w diesel and fed to the tractor. No point in giving away fuel.

What micron filter do you run the oil through before you dump it in the fuel tank? Hope it's a sub-micron filter as the metal in the used oil isn't going to do anything good for your injection pump or injectors.

Where in an injection system would there be even sub 10 micron clearances?

Depends on what type of pump it is. Plunger, vane, gerotor, piston type's. All have rather tight clearances. Modern injectors can have tolerances as small as .01 micron and don't forget there is no clearance at the pintle where it seats so whatever gunk is pumped through the injection pump and then the injector can get smashed at the pintle tip thereby damaging the sealing surfaces.

Somehow sounds like running this thru the 1960 Moline 900 would be ok, not much to lose (not even a pth), but the newer case and the newest deere, maybe not.

I did not read every post so if this has been covered, I apologize:

I used to drop my oil off at my aircraft mechanic. He has a waste oil heater for the shop. If you can find someone like that it is a very good use for the oil.

I don't generate enough waste oil to justify one myself, unfortunately.
