Maybe semantics, I've always heard them called ditchers- maybe its a Tennessee Valley thing. Regardless though, they do have a 5 footer, maybe larger. Seems that for something 3' deep or less that it could work. Just wouldn't have the fill for berm unless you go back through and pick it up. Does seem faster than using an excavator though.I have 2 of those. They are trenchers, not ditchers. Used around here to get water off of crops. The Sidewinder version is really nice because the blade runs in the right tire track.
Again, maybe I'm thinking too far outside the box - I've been accused of that in the past.
