Thanks for the advice, I had already given that some thought, the belts are running engine speed on good sized pulleys, thus keeping them at the lowest torque and highest speed. The only downfall is that my hydraulic pump will be clutchedJust a thought, keep your clutch, transmission, and the light duty parts at the highest rpm possible. Do your speed reduction with your heaviest components. If you notice in most tractors, the transmission is run at engine speed with heavy "Bull" gears carrying the high torque to the rear wheels.
