Thanks, needs brakes and a decent seat, then a paint up. That will be enough for me to mount my front mounted mower deck and cut the grass this summer. Then I will mount my hydraulic pump and tank, a spool valve and a rear three point linkage, and the next step will be to make a small backhoe for it, just as a toy more than anything else

Cannot wait to see some videos of it in action. My project is more a hobby then actually using it for work. It's a replica of a John Deere H I use to own. It's a work in progress.

That's cool, do you have an angle drive to turn power through 90 degrees? What you using for a gearbox?

The gearbox was taken from a Gilson lawnmower. here's a link to a thread on the build.

Hi, sorry no updates for over a year! Been distracted by life!
I have started to this project again and I am currently planning the hydraulic system and backhoe.
No longer need this for grass cutting as I now have a ride on mower.
Backhoe will be light but useful. I do not want a heavy oversized backhoe that will pull this little tractor all over the place.
