I've seen that one one eBay, pretty interesting design for the clutch engagement.
As far as cost to build this one I haven't totalled it up yet but I will say between 300 & 500. I had some of the parts and I have the cable! Overall I am happy so far. I think tomorrow I w

NO, LOL, I was using my wife's Kindle thing to post with as my laptop screen died a week ago. I have my laptop hooked to a spare monitor now but it was in the evening and didn't feel like going down stairs to use the laptop..LOL I'm still not sure what I did to make it do that. Sorry :)

How much money is going to be in the project. I need a winch but can't justify the high price of buying one.
I felt the same way until it was evident I was losing a battle with beetle killed pine trees I needed to remove off the side of our ridge were on. I broke down and bought a Farmi and it has paid it's self off in my time and manual labor. The price is just a blur in my memory now.

Small update:
Got an old 7.5' Fisher plow from a buddy, I cut out what I needed for my blade.
I got it tacked on after work today.
I don't have a lot of pictures as Imgur was acting up yesterday. I did get the chain cut to length, still have to install the idler pulley.
I got the handle sort of figured out for the clutch, I had it all mocked up, I think I can start to paint parts of it :)
