The Casters are a pair of 12" No Flat pneumatics from Northern Tool they were on clearance for about $15/EA 450 Lb capacity each.

The bed is 48"x 37" ( I had some 36" 2x6 drops to use for the floor). The frame is made from 2x3-1/2 x 5/16 angle, (overkill but its what i had)

The bed kind of dumps, but not really, it pivots on a section of 1-1/4" pipe that is at the frames 1/3 point. I'll try to get pictures latter today.

I have been planning to build one. I have been looking for a used wheel barrow. I saw one beside a dumpster Sunday. I looked at it and it was in great shape just had a flat tire (l don't need it anyway). We were in my wife's car so I was going to get my truck, we live close I was back less than 3 minutes and it was gone! Just my luck. I like the looks of the flat bed anyway. Nice work.

A friend of mine is in the process of building a powered barrow.
He is using a snowblower as the power source extended up front with asingle swivel 8" wheel.
He is making it dump to the side with a custom built 'tub'.
I'll try to grab a few pics next time I see him.

After much thought and scrounging I built my powe barrow/hauler.
With credit to Old Mech, cmyoung and one or two others, mine is alive.

It was easier to purchase an adapter from Earthtools, I tried to machine one from some sch 80 pipe, but ran into an issue with my lathe. Sch 40 was too thin, so a chunk of sch 80 is need for future reference.

So far it works great, I know it has more capacity than the bcs can handle, but I wanted my wife to be able to move two hay bales at once.

Does anyone know what is the max weight cap of the bcs is,don't want to crack my housing?

Don't know about the weight, but why do you have your tires on backward?

Don't know about kmaher, but mine are backwards about half the time cause I don't rotate tires every time I change implements.

I only use front mounted implements, and my tires are mounted the same way. That's so I have more traction in reverse, for backing up hills that I mow to the edge of a drop off.
