I just purchased my DK 35 and had it delivered yesterday. Everything was fine although when I would go from high to low range, I had to sorta play with the clutch to get it to go into Low. Well, today it won't even go into low no matter what I do. I have a call into the dealer but no return call, probably because it's Sunday. Anybody else have any trouble like this?

Thank you!

Dave

Welcome to TBN!
I haven't heard of any problems, but you may try this:
When you can't get it to go into low range, put it back in high, move a little forward or reverse and try it again.
Can't imagine any other problem unless a connector has come off of the linkage. Check under the tractor where the lever connects and follow it through making sure everything is still connected and nothing is stuck in the rods. Good luck and keep us posted. John

You might try tracing the linkage back into the case and hose it down with WD-40 where it goes in the case. Let it sit then work the lever back and forth, sometimes if these have sat outside for a while it will get a little stiff. You might do this to some of the other linkages too as it is good general maintenance to keep things from getting stiff.

Thanks John and Jon....My dealer also suggested that I try some WD-40. I sprayed some on it today and about 20 minutes later, IT WORKED!! I'm so happy that I have low range again...

I love working with my new DK35!! Happy Holidays!!

Happy Tractoring!! You might spray it from time to time, also spray that 4WD linkage every once and a while.

Take care,

Now that they're starting out good for you, yours should be happy too!
I spray all my linkages at every 50 hour lubing on the zerks, and as needed. Never have anything sticking anymore.
Thanks for letting us know how it turned out. John
