DK 55 loader speed

The tc48da has 12.02 on the pump and tc55da has 11.60, but the steering pump is only 5.52. DK65S is 10.88 pump and 8.37 steering pump. So I'll leave it to you to do the math.

Is that a ?? No it can't be a t t t toothbar and the paint isn't even scraped on the bucket. Looks pretty but can it really do anything? Productive I mean.

Please, let's don't go down this road.
If I can ignore the obvious, I think anyone else should be able to!!

Let's not even get into price comparisons for the 2 gal /min difference!

Yea, it can lift the loader bucket faster than a DK55, or DK65. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

There's one thing you need remember about machines, if it's bigger it moves slower, there is just more volume it has to push to do the same work, bigger cylinders take more oil and don't react as quickly.

If the hydraulic pump is right sized, then the loader will move just as fast as a smaller machine. It's simple fluid mechanics. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yep. Most larger tractors will have a system designed for a larger tractor. Higher flow rate pumps and the proper tubing will result in faster loader operation.

I've used a DK55 and a DK65 and DK65S, and have never noticed that the speed was very slow on the loader.

The original poster has a problem me thinks, that is not common to all of these models.

The 2.1 extra gpm on the NH will make some difference, but I doubt one working correctly would be that noticeable in comparison. I've used the NH as well, and didn't notice much difference in speed.

I do like the turtle/rabbit range shifter button on the joystick and fender of the NH. I thought that was really cool.

But what seems to be the red herring here is that the loader is an aftermarket loader. That loader might require more hydraulic flow? Or it might be plumbed with larger (or smaller) lines?

I suspect the hydraulic pump is sided properly for the attachements that were designed to be used on the tractor. It could just be that this attachment is not well suited to the machine?

Yes, I would think that could be a possiblity. I'm not sure of the specs on the loader, but I rather think that this is not the case. Woods generally makes their loaders with specific brands in mind, and I think they usually will have comparable specs.

We don't have a clue as to the expertise of the person/s that installed it. Whol knows whether everything is as it should be to begin with?

My dealer uses a lot of Woods loaders, and I've tried them out of nearly every Kioti model without a real noticeable difference. My experience with those loaders, albeit not extensive, says that there's something else going on.
