DK35 Dead - Won't Start

I had that happen to my DK 35 a few years ago
I had a bad ground where the battery cable bolts to the frame.
I removed the battery ground cable where it bolts to the frame, cleaned cable and frame. No problem ever since.

Had exactly the same thing as DK35vince on my DK45

Kubota definitely not in the budget...thanks though. I like the color orange I already have.

I have a good ground connection to the frame. Voltmeter (continuity checked it) confirmed this, yet I pulled it anyways, cleaned all the contact points and bolted it back up.

I still have zero power to the dash, nothing at all.

What does this "slow blow fuse" look like?

"What does this "slow blow fuse" look like?"

It's on the harness down towards the starter and completely wrapped up in electrical tape.

The slow blow is between the positive terminal on the battery and the starter?

I checked and I have continuity from the positive terminal to the starter.

I have never had mine unwrapped. It might be between the starter and the harness, not between the battery & starter.....I don't know for sure.

The slow blow MAIN FUSE is right next to the starter. its a 60 amp main fuse.

Also, just saying buy a Kubota isnt a nice thing to say. Ill bet there have been alot of Kubotas and JD's that have had fuse issues in the past.

A quote from the manual page you posted..."If any electric system does not operate while the battery operates properly, the slow-blow fuse should be checked."

Roger that! Will check the slow blow fuse this evening if I can get to her before bed time.

Thanks all.

I checked and I have continuity from the positive terminal to the starter.

According to the schematic, you will have continuity even if it is blown, but the slow blow is between the battery and everything else, including the starting relay.
