Welcome to TBN. You're husband may not like foreign goods, but he'll not find a tractor, or car, for that matter that doesn't have a good bit of foreign materials, if not all.
Masseys are not American made either, with products from Turkey, Poland and many other countries. This is true for most manufacturers of tractors. The good thing about Kioti and Kubota both is that they build their own tractors exclusively, unlike every other maker. Implements are usually made by other companies.
The Kioti warranty is as good as any in the business for the most part. A recent poster even had a service technician come from the headquarters to solve a minor problem he was having when his dealer was unable to resolve it.
I've had no warranty issues with my CK20 other than a plastic knob on the foldable ROPS that broke off, and my dealer brought me another right away.
Rhino used to make all the Kioti loaders, and posters have spoken very highly of them. I understand that Kioti only changed to another company because they got a cheaper price.
While I don't have a DK35, I have been on them several times and tried them out at my dealer's. They are tough and very strong tractors. I don't think you'd go wrong with one.
We have quite a few satisfied posters on this forum who do have that model.
Let us know how it goes, and remember, we love pictures! John
