Just bout a slightly used kioti. I got my hands on a nice Woods PRD8400. I’ve got it all hooked up and even when my stabilizers are shortened all the way I still have tons of slop. Probably 6-8 inches each way. I’m beating my head against the wall trying to figure this out. Help!

Why do you have so much slop in your bottom ones? They should be tight and pull against each other after centering/offsetting.

Edit: Otherwise you need an arm stabilizer bar t do the same job.

It looks like ya got them in the wrong holes.
Lift rods on my tractor are in the holes closest to the tractor and the sway chains are in the further holes.

I just went and looked at my Kubota and I have three holes on each arm. Inner two for the lift rods and the sway chains are in the outer hole. Not a good pic.

do you have a kioti? You think it’s backwards? Thinking about it that would take all this extra slack I can’t figure out, away. I just bought it, only has 200 hours. I wonder if the previous owner switched it for some reason…. Trying to find some pictures now.

My EXACT thought Alan. Lift rods and stabilizers are in the wrong holes. Swap them and the stabilizers will tighten up nicely.

I have three holes in my lift rods. My stabilizers are in the furthest out hole - lift rods in the middle hole.

You can see the arrangement in this pic of my Kubota. The previous owner may have been using the 3-point for something very narrow and needed the extra length to make connection. Or maybe he just didn't understand.

Interestingly all of kioti's expo and brochure images have it that way.

However, if you look at dealer tractors for new and used listings (not marketing images) they have the stabilizer turnbuckles on the outside as suggested.

You should have seen the first time I tried to fold the ROPS on my new Kioti... took me a few to realize they had the pivot bolt and locking pin reversed. :ROFLMAO:

They had the level indicator tubes on my NX swapped (top and bottom). I'd lost the one that was installed at the top and went to the dealer and ordered the "top" one. Dealer got all snippy with me when I told them that the one that was ordered didn't match the one I needed: they tried to blame me for ordering the wrong part! And then there was the obvious screw-up with the dealer that they'd installed the warning triangle sign on the wrong side... Buy new and these are the things you face. Buy used and you get previous owner's "solutions." More and more I can understand why people go out drinking...
