Past few times I have filled the tank (to very top) I notice fuel leaking under tractor. Can't seem to find the leak!!
Does the tank have an overflow tube that only allows you to fill that tank say.. 7/8 full, and the rest will just bleed out an overflow tube?
or maybe I just have a leak somewhere?

any help would be appreciated.

It probably has a vent/overflow tube to allow for expansion of the fuel. I've always been told never to fill to the very top, always leave room. Probably nothing to worry about.

probably coming out the vent if your filling it as full as you say.

well, the plot thickens.
It is not the overflow / vent tube, it is dry. There is diesel everywhere, all over the trailer (its sitting on) and steadily dripping while the tank is about a little more than 3/4 full.
I noticed the metal strap that holds the tank in place looks like it was tightened to much & has crushed the top of tank somewhat. I have never touched this before, so dealer / manufacture... I am not sure if the tank has cracked from this or not.
My first guess is a cracked tank or possibly a piece of metal or some debris has wedged itself between tractor frame / strap & tank & wore a hole.
I don't see how it could be the tube at bottom of tank, since there is fuel leaking somewhere above it. Seems like the leak is somewhere behind or on the side of the tank (back in towards the console) where you can't see.

The only visible connections I can see are the top vent tube (about 1/4" tube) & the bottom tube (3/8" tube). And the workshop manual does not list anything.

It is now on its way back to the dealership for repairs.
And of course, as my luck would have it, my warranty ended in June.
400+ hours.

I know it does not help you... but my VW has a plastic fuel tank. When I got back from a 3 week vacation mice had apparently set up home on top of the fuel tank, dealership found 1 parent, 5 babies on top of the tank. They had eaten there way through the tank where the filler neck joins the tank. Every time I filled up... diesel flowed out!! That was an $840.00 repair bill!!!

It turned out to be the tank was cracked.
The metal strap was too tight & was crushing the tank & finally it started to crack.
I sure hope the dealer corrects this under warranty...
