DK55 and KL1595 Loader

LakeLanierBuddy,

Your wrong on the 1590 self leveling performance, or at least on the one attached to my tractor. When using the pallet forks its very clear the loader keeps the angle set while raising or lowering the load. Its more difficult to see the effect with the bucket, but it works the same way. Self leveling is a poor choice of words, it should be called constant angling, but the feature works exactly as my manual describes. Improving the 1590 rollback would be nice, but its far from useless as it is.

Jeff: My loader holds the angle too, with the bucket this angle is suppose to be "level" so material stays in the bucket. The 1595 loader does not roll back far enough to attain the "level" that is required to function as a self-leveler!

I think the quick attach being on the loader increases the problem. Buddy, do you have that QA on yours? I know it changes the architecture enough to be a problem with that setup.

Yep, I have the QA! I think it does too! I talked to Kioti again today. All they would say is President is in Korea, will be back sometime next week. Also, contacted KMW for the first time via email and phone. Talked to a fellow who transfered me to the voice mail of a manager "Jermemy", about the problem. I have not heard anything from KMW as of now. I still have hope! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

There are, as we speak, people in Korea looking at this problem. I've sent them enough posts so that there's no question they're aware that people are unhappy about this situation. We'll see.

Great! I hope they can read english better than I can Korean! I told Kioti today it would be in their best interest to assign someone to read TBN in an effort to reduce problems Kioti customers have with Kioti tractors. I elect you! Now I just need to get you a salary! Thanks keep on TBNing! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

LakeLanierBuddy,

I don't know what the 1595 manual says, but the 1590 manual does not claim self leveling will level the bucket. It states the bucket's angle will stay at the set angle as the load is raised or lowered. If the self level feature worked as you described pallet forks would be useless since they would be pulled too far back dumping the contents with loose items. I understand your desire for more rollback, stuff could be heaped higher in the bucket. I'm just saying the 1590 works as specified, at least mine does. And while more rollback would be nice the 1590 works is very usable in the current configuration.

You're exactly right Jeff. The angle must be maintained as the loader comes up with forks on it. The loader will hold that angle and adjust itself to maintain that load angle. If you roll the bucket back all the way, it will be maintained at that angle all the way up, right? If you lowered the bucket angle half way to dump, it would maintain it in that position. You would notice that the bucket is actually slightly changing position as the loader arms come up. Is this about right on yours Jeff?

I don't think you understand! The bucket or Pallet forks are to remain at the same angle as you raise the loader. Pallet forks need to remain level with little or no roll back while using the bucket in sand or whatever needs to roll back to a "level bucket" condtion to hold the material while moving the tractor. Review all of the above post, including psuedofarmer who has a 1590 and explains the lack of rollback as it relates to his use of the 1590. The sales information has the "self-leveling" statement not the owners manual. These loaders are identified as "self leveling", by industry standards and as claimed by Kioti!

Jeff, I just checked the Kioti site spec's on your 1590 Loader. It has 3 more degrees of roll back (31 on the 1590 vs. 28 degrees on the 1595) I have just today had 3 owners of 1590 PM wanting to be added to the list of unhappy loader owners. Rather than debate the issue, I say use it in a sand pile for a year, try to load the bucket full and carry it across your property, and then you will understand. Plus, remember the 1595 has three degrees less than your 1590 loader of roll back on the bucket, making it that much woorse! Kioti is trying to fix it, they say!
