Do I Dare?

A lot of road damage this Winter and I'd like to get started on repairs. Here in the northeast anyway, it seems like whenever I take the Winter gear off the tractor, we get a spring blizzard. I already tempted fate by taking off the chains & spreader, do I dare take the plow off too?

Every year that question comes up and it reminds me of an April 1973 blizzard.

It was a wet & heavy 10 to 20 inch snow with 40+ mph winds and shut everything down. One guy in town had a front wheel drive Oldsmobile Toronado, everyone else had rear wheel drive cars. Even the very few pickups around were 2 wheel drive.
