Me, I'll stick with Titans or Trellerborhg or Michelin. Sounds like container ship tires to me. If I'm plunking down 5 grand for shoes for each tractor (x 3), I want something that at least lasts for a while. Been my experience with Chinese rubber products that the rot almost instantly. Those tire smell Chinese to me.

This reminds me of me when I was young and buying tires for my car. I bought the cheapest tires because they were 1/2 the cost of the good tires. I would have to buy new tires every year. Later I started buying the good tires and they would last 4 years. In the long run the more expensive tires are actually 1/2 the cost of the cheap tires. When I was young and poor I would have been better off finding a way to pay for the more expensive tires from the start.

This is how I judge all things now: How long will it last? This is really the only important question.

Ahh, so they're made from recycled hockey pucks, eh?
That’s funny, I don’t care what anybody says, lol

I bought Michelin tires for the first time for my Yukon, yes they were pricy but geez it rides like I just left the dealership when I bought it new. I too look for longevity and not cheap price in products I buy. I won’t buy any other brand of tires again.

My current tires on my M6040 - Goodyear and Titan. But they are only twelve years old. SO .... they should still be good.

My previous tractor had four Goodyear. The were all in good shape when traded in 27 years later. If you pay $$$$ for good tires - keep the tractor out of the sun when not in use.

.... under the impression that they would save me about $300 and be just as good.

Thats usually the case in my experience. We all know the saying...now it will have cost you far more than if you had just bought the good stuff to begin with. Sorry to hear it happened.

Camoplast has been making snowmobile tracks for decades. When I was still in the sport ten years ago, they were the gold standard. I've never seen their Ag tires, so I can't comment there, but does anyone know whether they are manufacturing them in QC, or buying them from China? I never had an issue with their snowmobile tracks (that I didn't cause myself!). It seems that there shouldn't be that much of a drop in quality given their experience with rubber products.
