DO NOT BUY SOLIDEAL TIRES. (TRIGGER WARNING)

I just put a set of camso 532 on my skid loader a couple weeks ago. Bauer Built says they sell many of them, and that’s what they recommend. Too early to tell how good they are, but if they are crappy, I doubt Bauer Built would be staking their reputation on them.

My dealer swapped standard tracks for Camso on CTL when I tried moving snow in their lot with a demo unit and told the dealer I was disappointed that I couldn't move better on packed snow. The Camso turned out to be far better on packed snow and ice. I only have 2 years and a few hundred hours on the tracks so I can't tell you about life but definitely superior ice & snow traction than OEM tracks. Maybe that's why you read in many posts here about dealers selling Camso tracks no matter which brand CTL they are selling.

I will never, ever, ever buy another product made by Camso/Camoplast/Solideal. The Solideal Tires are truly terrible. When i First got tires for my tractor i got solideal tires, under the impression that they would save me about $300 and be just as good. Boy, was i just wrong. These tires have to be the worst brand of tires ever. They are already cracking and dryrotting after about 1 1/2 years of standard use, total of 75HRS. These are kept at normal inflation temperatures. The front tires are already bald, and i don't even go on concrete all that often. they are at a high PSI for the front like the manual says for loaders, and even what solideal tires website says. Don't buy these cheap tires. They are truly horrible. Never will i ever buy solideal tires again"T

And then there is that "Chinese tire" rubber smell in a Harbor Freight. It is so distinctive.
So that’s where that smell came from! I bought a pair of wheel chocks from H F and that smell filled up my 2,500 sq.ft pole barn for quite a while. No Bueno 🎅🏻☮️✌🏻

So its their fault that you bought a Lada thinking you were getting a Rolls Royce? How long were the tires sitting in a warehouse before you bought them? So many factors to consider before bashing an entire company.

Camoplast makes some excellent products, they have a budget line like anyone else. Do your research before buying.

OK, this raises a question in my mind. Do tractor tires have a manufacture date stamped into them like car tires do so you can tell how old they are before you buy them?

When purchasing rear Lug Ag tires, COUNT the Lugs. Some brands have fewer lugs and you get a telescoped bumpy ride on hard surfaces. I believe they were made in Poland. There were 4 fewer Lugs than originals on 4.75 New Holland. Not worth saving a few hundred.

The stockers on my Mahindra 26MAX aren't that much better. Just drive around a while in 4WD on concrete or asphalt.
