The sensation of going over backwards will kick in long before you actually go over. Most of the time you can go up backwards and maneuver around latter. Your skid steer is more maneuverable than a tractor. I haven't flipped mine over backwards, but I have gotten it stuck in a hole where I could not go backwards or forwards. Your basically in it looking down at the ground, don't dare go out the front for fear of it falling on you. The ground is either frozen or too soft to use the bucket to push you back out. This would be why they make the rear window removable. When the ground is soft you can dig a hole leveling your self out, so you can get out of it. Now you won't have this issue, but when I have screwed up is in the winter pushing snow into the ditch at the end of the drive. Got too close to the edge and slid in, couldn't get traction to go forward and not enough to go backwards. So, fortunately I had a cell phone and could call someone to pull me out. Your skid steer has an enclosed cab, so getting trapped inside is a possibility. That back window is not real big. They are an amazing machine and I have done a lot with mine. If you have your seat belt on going over backwards your not going to get hurt. However, getting stuck inside is embarrassing.:embarrassed:
