Do ultrasonic mice repellers work?

I have the rolling log mouse trap (5 gal bucket with water ) 3 mice in 2 days, I also have 2 barn cats

I used peanut butter - all the way. The "gangway" going up to the lip of the bucket and on the "spinning wheel". Caught all 35 mice in exactly ten days. Then the supply all "dried up" and no more mice or chipmunks. Forgot to mention - I also caught 22 chipmunks along with the 35 mice.

Anyhow - it all dried up and was put to bed on November 5th. After a week of catching absolutely nothing. It will be fired back up - first thing in the spring.
