Well folks I have to admit I had this sort of a question posted on two sites I'm sure most of ya'll realized it pretty quick but I was getting pretty desperate to solve this as I couldn't even move the tractor before the seperator was full of water.
I HAVE A RESOLUTION! and yes I'm screaming I'm so excited to be able to look forward to the weekend now AAH Seat Time its like getting drunk without the hangover or the looks from your honey.
The fuel distributor came out at precisely 9:30 this morning as promised they took one look and said there is no way I could have that much water in the tank as a direct result of their fuel delivery as I was the first one on their route that day and half of South Texas would have been screaming. OK so what is it, now these guys are not your typical 5.00 per hour folks one is the owner of the fuel company and the fuel truck driver is a retired farmer/mechanic. They scratched their heads for about a second and started looking at the tank since the tractor ran fine before the new diesel hit it. They climbed all around no holes no open vent or filler neck problem now the tanks probably 10' or 12' in the air so nobody could do anything to it very easy and then we were just standing there when the truck driver say would you look at that you could see that after the tank was made it was stored on its side somewhat which turns the vent into a funnel into the tank you could see the water lines on the vent pipe.
The moral of the story is if you buy a tank brand new like me or even a used one make sure its empty before they fill it with $500. worth of Diesel. The good part is I bought the tank from them so even before they had discovered how the water got there they were already draining it to run it thru their filtering system. They both felt really bad about all my lost sleep and worry and helped drain the tractor and purge the fuel out of its lines and then refueled it to the top and refueled the tank to the top as well. It never turned into a shouting match they handled it quickly and professionally and I can tell you that if I live to be a hundred this fuel distributor has my business. And for those really synical folks out there not one penny changed hands today and I don't think they'd have charged me if they had found it was my fault they were there to help Welcome to Texas hows that for customer service. And I'm quite sure that in topping off both the tractor and tank that they left me with at least 40 gallons of extra diesel besides yea I know but it was their tank well in discussing this on TBN I know some of the folks were betting even if it was their problem they'd never admit it.
Steve the happy tractorer and yes this all said I'm still going to refill my tractor everytime after I use it because if I never have to purge the air out of this beast again it'll be to soon.
