This looks interesting - I have a Ferris IS2000 with the full suspension so not sure how much this would improve the ride - have you tested on these models? My unit weighs 1100 Lbs so its not a light machine.

The suspension is tied to the deck so it flexes with the suspension to maintain the cut height.

Also, what's the expected life, warranty, and cost, then how many total hours do you have on these wheels in use?

We haven't tested with the Ferris models, and there might need to be some modifications for them, but it would work just fine with their suspension as far as I know. Need more testing on that specifically, perhaps in the future.

It is an interesting design, but seems over complicated and difficult to manufacture. I saw this design a few years ago and could not figure out why they were not made for tractors, and now they are. Not only would it provide the flex that your hub does, but would keep a person from having flat tires to boot. Due to debris in my pastures, I often have punctures so I covet these wheels.

Hopefully soon you'll be able to test-ride our wheels yourself at a dealer and decide yourself :)

No problem. I did not see the posts earlier on the Tweel so I do apologize for that oversight.

I am more of a do-as-much-as-I-Can-For-Myself kind of person, so I look at things and try to deduce if I could build them myself. I have done some casting work, and while I do not really like it, I can see being able to make the Tweel wheels myself. I got plenty of plastic kicking around, I just got to figure out what kind they used that is still pliable in cold temperatures.

Your site didn't include Ferris IZ700S compatibility nor did it offer a price. I have the rear problem solved by going from a 12" wheel to an 8" (dia) wheel with the same OD with 2 ply snow stud tires for the rear solution which works well...yes I spent money getting there but I have arrived...Grin. My problem is that, even with the Ferris, I want more front wheel control.
