Docks

i doubt i would worry for a clay lined pond. there are multi ways to put clay into the soil to get the pond to hold water. but clay is not a "epdm liner pond" or other type of rubber / plastic line pond. it is clay errr dirt that is holding water in the pond.

yes you are probably right, but there has been so many things that I have found while working my land that the guy before me did flat out wrong or misled me on that I tend to be a little overly cautious.

After the first month of owning the property I decided to check to see if it was lined because about everything else he had told me was not correct !

When I tried to wade accross it My saddle got stuck in the bottom of the pond and I never thought I would get it out. SO I know there is some clay in places on the bottom.
How much he put in and how well he mixed it is a whole other question ?

Helped my friend build a small dock for his pond.

He used 2" 20' galvanized fence posts/top rail. he drove them with a standard T post driver. sunk them about 5' and left about 5' up out of the water for railing.

he used standard fence parts to attach the ramp to the posts and used a floating T section with poly barrels.
