Richard -- Is that why I felt warmer when I first moved to Vermont? Back in California I was riding my bike 400-600 miles per week. My resting pulse was 54. And my wife said I was always warm to the touch. Now the most exercise I get is a couple miles walking per day. My wife says I'm not as warm (physically, not emotionally!) as when we first married, and the cold seems, well -- cold!
Could it be that after eight years of relative inactivity my little mitochondria just aren't firing like they used to..?
