Now back to the original posters question, can a pig fly.

I'm not sure how this post got so messed up. I have been accused of having A.D.D, but i don't believe for a second that the constitution allowed for the government to tax individuals.

Now, Ive been told that if a John deere and a Kubota were to breed, you would get a Kioti. if this were true, how can you account for the color. Green + Orange does not equal Orange. And speaking about Oranges, will the current hot weather in Florida affect the orange crop??

And speaking of crops....why did my corn only grow 3 feet tall. I must have gotten some crummy Chinese corn seed.

And speaking of China, I hear some of our representatives, namely The House of, voted to sanction China for manipulating the value of their currency: House Votes to Sanction China Over Currency - Bill passes with big majority, but Senate prospects unclear

... implying, I guess, that our leaders don't do that :confused2: (money printers)

My first new car was a 89 S-10 Blazer. 4.3L 4x4. What a POS. Anyway about 3,000 miles into having it I got a flat tire. Drivers rear. I got out and it had a fork in it, literally. It was a kitchen fork and all 4 points put holes in the factory Tire Paws. Another POS. Thanks GM.

Anyway, I could not get the lugs off. I walked a mile to a farmers house on a Sunday. Luckily they had just got home from church and were having lunch. They gave me a plate and told me they would give me a hand when I we all got done eating. This was before the days of cell phones. Anyway, after lunch he got his truck and sent me to the barn to get a piece of 6' fence pipe that way laying along side the barn. I had also used their phone to call my dad. He meet us at the truck and the 3 of us managed to lift the trucks rear wheel off the ground using the lug wrench and cheater bar. If that POS was built half as tough as the lug wrench it may have been a decent truck. My dad said screw it and told me to drive it the 7 miles to the GM dealer on the flat tire which I did. It ate the wheel all up and destroyed the tire.

I got a call the next day and they told me they were going to have to order 4 new wheels and all new studs. They could not get them off and ended up having to burn them off with a torch. I have no clue how tight they were but the truck only had about 3,000 miles so it had to be that way from the factory.

The guy that installed the wheels on your Blazer must have left Government Motors to work for Ford because he installed the factory oil filter on my truck. I have never had that much trouble unscrewing anything. I even went to Auto Zone at 9:00 to get a new filter wrench which was useless.

Actually, he's alive and well in Mo. because I just repaired a TroyBilt rider that had the blades misaligned on the shafts and were so tight it took a breaker bar and a cheater to remove them. The shafts had to be replaced.

Might have. I think he was the same guy who installed it on my neighbors 06 F-150. It took us 2 hours to get it off for the first oil change.

Imagine Al Gore as the next door neighbor. I'd run extension cords from his house and get carbon credits Might as well run internet and phone lines too. Get another tax credit for business expense. Any body want to subcontract the trenching ? just send the bill to the secret service :drink:

On most every new vehicle I have owned, I needed to drive a screwdriver through the side of the oil filter and completely through the other side, then use the screwdriver to spin off the filter. Lots of cursing and lots of clean-up when finished.

I very rarely have to punch em thru with a screwdriver anymore, lately I just use a large pair of channel locks and leave the filter wrench in my box.

Because my neighbor pays big bucks to have a lawn service care for his postage stamp sized yard, and my 4 acres is nothing but weeds and crapgrass. No watering, no fertilizing, no care except for mowing.

Yep, whenever someone new stops by and needs to turn around. I just wave my hand at the patch of ground/grass/weeds in front of the house and say; "you folks in town have lawns, out here we have land, take as much room as you need."

We had a Ford work truck that was on lease. It was about a 2000 model year F150. Someone had it out one day and the throttle stuck almost wide open. The truck would restart but would rev up. It turned out there was a plastic cover on the throttle body that got stuck under the throttle blade and held it almost wide open. I'm sure this was a cover put on at the factory to keep dirt out during assembly. At some point it was suppose to be removed. I'm still amazed the truck ran with that cover on and it seemed to run O.K.
