Thanks, Mace. Around here--and south-- they call the tines King Weeder Teeth or tines and apparently have been on rod weeders at some point because that's how they are now described. I'm going to use it to lightly rip up dead grass in the late summer before I slit seed in grass seed. Or at least that's the plan if it works. I happened to see an old rod weeder at an auction a couple months back and that's when the wheels started turning.
