Loved the rest of the "taters" Paul. Overall, I think there are a lot of "sweet taters" here.

I think it is a case of some people getting harassed. This is the other forum so who cares if it has animals on it.
Cowboy can you explain to me how you missed the topic in the photo section titled "My spoiled Dog" that tells you right there that it is going to contain animals and I looked guess what it has a lot of them. So how are those more tractor related that the Junkman's.
I would say atleast 75%of the stuff in the other forums do not contain to tractors, that is why it is in the others section.
They put underware on cartoons so I don't think it will hurt your kids to see it.

While I cannot explain that particular thread, I can explain one thing... take a look at the top of the main index tonight.

There are 52 registered and 121 anonymous users online.
Now take a look at the bottom of any forum...
Number of moderators... about 1 for every 1000 users.
Participating in a conversation with 8000+ people ain't easy. Like Doc pointed out... we do this on a volunteer basis. We can only read so much. Remember, we moderators are TBN members, first, moderators second. We enjoy this website as much as all of you. Most of the threads that we look at with the Moderator Hat on are ones that were brought to our attention by other TBN members. When we remove a post for whatever reason, we try to send a note to the person that posted it explaining why it was removed. Sometimes somone might get missed. Some posts might get missed. We do our best to keep the majority of posts tractor related, and they are. For the most part, the entire membership of TBN does an excellent job of bringing posts that wander off topic back in line. Heck, many times people point out when I go off topic. I'm just as guilty as anybody else. But when someone points it out, I try to correct it.
Speaking of off topic, I'm off topic... this thread is supposed to be about WHOOPS images relating to tractor goof ups. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

A moderator should be nonpartisan and not all of the moderators are nonpartisan. 1 moderator is in my opinion overbearing and opinionated. I can tell you he has been involved in some flame wars and I do not feel his is a good moderator,a valuable TBN member yes,but as a moderator no.
One moderator reminds me as a teacher in school talking to 1st graders(its the tone)making comments about threads going on too long.
The rest of our moderators including Muhammad handle the job with grace and class.
As far as this being a family site I could not agree more,but I have noticed some minor curse words have been allowed lately, to me these are more offensive than a picture of a cat in a bathing suit.
There are lots of pictures that are off topic and a moderator would have to know that is the case and keep that in mind before deleting 1 post.
I feel junkman's post was deleted not so much as the content but the moderator thought he was posting too many pictures.
If the topic is off topic,what is wrong with a cute joke being posted as long as it is not offensive or crude ? As long as it is not being posted on the wrong thread.

I've stooped to the flame wars as well. Sometimes people get the best of me and it is my own fault for replying. As I've said before, it is very hard to have a conversation with so many people without being able to see their face or hear the tone in their voice. Sometimes I am not the most eloquent writer. There are many people here that can express their thoughts in word better than I.
Anyhow. Let's get this thread back on track....

Had computer problems yesterday and missed the debate about the cat picture Junkman wanted to post, I thought it wasn't anywhere near as offensive as the pictures of the murdered dogs. IMO, letting the forum get off topic is much worse than being concerned about innocent pictures that members want to post.

If you didn't like the cat picture, you probably won't like this one any better! This one depicts a actual mud wrestler. If you are easilly offended by such sights, please don't click on the picture. I call this "two ton Tessie bogged down"....... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
