Speaking of suggestions. I wish Kubota would have made a solid backhoe connection to their new 30 series tractors. Similar to the BX, B21, L35. This would eliminate the headache of attaching and detaching the 3 pt. hitch BH.

Kevincook, that's weird you havn't seen a questionare yet. I just got my 2 year questionare on my L3010 yesterday. I was surprised to see it. I thought it was for my ZD I purchased a couple months ago.

I have run 2 extra sets of light on my 3010 since I bought it. Pilot fogs on the grill guard and Pilot driving lights on the rops. I just put a canopy on and moved the rops lights down to the side and back a little and they are great in that position. No more glare over my head.

I agree about the fuel filler. The B2150 was much easier to fill.

The new L's look interesting but most definately not revelotionary or that much different to even warrant thinking about a new one. I really couldn't be happier with the present L.

I received a 3 page survey from Kubota. Granted I only have about 45 hours of experience with the tractor and it would be nice to get a poll after another 100+, there were lots of pretty specific questions and plenty of write-in-the-answer type questions asking for suggestions to make it better.

I bought my ZD21 in 2001, and am yet to get any questionarre.

Brad, How do you like your ZD28? Do you mind my asking what you ended up paying for it?

Thanks

Oops!

I may need to eat my words. I picked up a new Grand L brochure today and Kubota has moved the fuel fill to the right side of the tractor. I didn't see one in person so it may not be perfect but it sure looks better than having it in the center of the hood.

Also they have moved the quick connect fitting for the loader from under the tractor to above the floor deck. No need to bend way over to take them off. Kubota claims I wouldn't even need to get out of the drivers seat to take the loader off any more. The loaders are interesting also. There is no frame that wraps around the front of the tractor anymore. Just two pins one on each of the main upright supports. Looks like a pretty cool setup.

Another big thing is the rollback angle on the loaders is much better than on previous models.

I also noticed that you can get a cab with AC/Heat and LIGHTS already mounted on a 3430....I think you had to go up to a 3710 to get a cab before....I might be wrong on that though.

Maybe Kubota has answered all my desires with the new models after all.

Hmmm, 3430, cab, mmm, loader....sounds pretty good.

The new BH90 attaches similar to the quick attach loaders, not quite the same as the landscaper series, but very quick on anf off. The three point linkage comes off if I remember correctly. They took it off at the dealer meeting in about 5 minutes.

Just confirming that you're right on all accounts. The new loaders are the midmount type, very clean look, greater lift capacity, four bar linkage on bucket for greater rollback and dump angles, and available with skid steer quick attach. Cab model is now available one size smaller, 3430, also more 3-point lift cap, very nice cruise control, and awesome new dash. The Intelli-panel has been in use for 5 years in Japan, has been very reliable and trouble free, and is NOT a major expense to replace. I do not remember the exact cost, so I won't start any rumors, but I know it was very reasonable. Hard not to be excited about them!! :)

I was just scanning through the new brochure again tonight and it also looks like the mower decks have changed the mounting mechanism. It looks like it may be even easier than the old L series. The front linkage looks similar to the B series to me.

Quick attach loader, quick attach backhoe and quick attach mower sounds pretty good to me.

Looking over the literature for the MMM. I noticed that it does not have rear swivel casters like the MMM for 27-2910 model. This is what makes the 27-2910 MMM easy to remove and install.
