Does your tractor have a kill switch under seat?

terry43,
My 2000 New Holland TC25 doesn't have a kill switch either.
Everything has to be in neutral and the clutch in to start though. Jump off at your own risk. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I don't know when Kubota started putting the seat switch in but it was after 2002.
My 02 B7500 didn't have it and My 05 L2800 does.

Mine is a 2005 NHTC40DA. The kill switch under the seat works real well.

The only kill switch I have is the ignition key! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif And that is the way I prefer it.

My JD 855 has 2 switches under the seat. The first disconnects the PTO if I stand up / lift the seat. The second is a mechanical interlock to the HST. I can't press the pedals unless the seat is depressed.
Neither one will kill the engine.

The PTO switch allows the use of the PTO without someone in the seat - by flipping the seat up and pulling up on the switch. Being HST it does not require the tractor to be in neutral, but you can't move the tractor with the seat up, as the second interlock blocks the pedals.

My 2003 B7800 has a kill switch under the seat. Sometimes when using the forks to see where they are at I have to stand up and then just keep one hand pushed against the seat until I set back down.

My 3320 works the same way- the switch doesn't kill the engine, but you must be in the seat for the HST pedals to work and it will kill the PTO if you get off the seat (and the engine if the PTO is engaged). You can bypass the switch to work the PTO out of the seat (although I forget how).
