I like to hear the sound of hunting dogs on pursuit :thumbsup: However never understood why they give themselves away with all the noise,
my Little Odie will take off after rabbits or squirrels sounding more like somethings after him yep! yep! yep! although he is giving the chase, I'll have to get a video of him doing that,

I've tried having a talk with Odie, explaining if he ever were to catch a rabbit he's going to have to slip up on him quietly, But like a child he about halfway listens to me, He has gotten where he will hide behind trees and await for something to get close to him before giving chase, He's very fast considering he only has 3" legs,
I believe he coud catch something if he could only maneuver that long stretched body around,
It's hilarious to watch him chasing a rabbit, rabbits can do a 180* on a dime, It takes Odie 8 ft to get turned around when in full speed chase,

About 2 months ago when entering through the gate of our property, I usually have to stop to let odie in for a ride to my shop, But instead this time he took off running to the trunk of a tree, when I got my truck parked and stepped out there he was, showing off his trophy catch, he had finally caught himslef a squirrel, it certainly was a mouth full for him, I could tell he was proud, I wish I had thought to get a picture of that, but i was more concerned in getting it away from him, in case the squirrel might had been ill or something,.

I've never tried a surfboard - the dog surfing backwards has pretty much guaranteed I never will - who could follow an act like that ! :thumbsup:

Got a call from my last night night that I needed to pick up some puppy food while I was still in town. Interesting because we didn't have any puppies lol
