Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Zoey, our daughter's new Boston puppy is teaching Sadie how to play "Stick". Bostons seem to like to play "stick", I call it; our two (Presley & Gracie) will both grab one end of the same stick and run all over the yard with it.

My wife and I would love to see a video of the play, do you have one?

We had a retriever mix years ago that would run around the yard with a mop stick like he was a kid pretending to ride a horse. There was also a swing in the yard where he'd put his front paws on the swing and push the swing back and forth. Our backyard was completely fenced with a chain link fence. He kept getting out and coming to the front door. He figured out where the lowest part of the fence was located. He would stand parallel with the fence and jump over it.

We had a Jack Russell terrier that would find all the weak spots in a fence. Finally got him taken care of and locked in the yard. Or so I thought.

For about a week. Until my neighbors wife caught me outside on Saturday. Her exact words were "Do you know what that little a$$hole is doing????"

He started climbing the fence. He would wait a 1/2hr after my wife left for work. Work his way around the neighborhood making his treat route. Then hang out with her and her husband the rest of the day. At 3:30pm on the dot, he would go get her and escort her to our gate where she would let him back into our yard.

He would then greet me at 4pm acting like he had been in the yard all day

I installed an invisible fence around the perimeter that afternoon and put him on a shock collar.

We filled our pool last night for the first time this year. Our puppy is just one year old and she was too small to go into the pool last year before we drained it. This is the first time that Spicy has seen water going into it, and she had so much fun playing with her ball in the water until it got too deep.
