Was pushing snow at the college gals house and one from a different house stopped to cuddle Dolly. Dogs are good for kids.

Always liked them, beautiful big dogs, nice farm dogs. Useful in many ways, and nice companions

I went the LDG route years ago, Great Pyrenees, Karakachan and now moved into Anatolian (Kangal). I understand them now and we can work as partners. cause they ain't gonna listen until they get old.

Taken yesterday. Mousing pro at work. While out skiing, every time we stop, this goes on.

Every morning I have a little almond butter and peanut butter. The dog knows the sound of the jars hitting the counter and the lids opening so she wants to be ready. Both are her favs and a little peanut butter has become a prelude to her morning nap.

First photo is when she hears the jars open. She was asleep but now is surreptitiously observing me and the PB on the counter. She looks in a hidden way so she doesn't appear too eager. Look close.





The second photo is with the chair moved and a better view. She's on her kitchen bed with special blanket that she makes into a nest.






Peanut butter is done so the third photo is getting ready for morning nap in favorite chair and resting her head on favorite blanket. Wife washes it a lot and dog likes the smell. Field Springer Spaniel.

Kangal is a lot of dog!

So far those two girls have been easier even if a bit more aggressive than the other 4 similar ones already here. 2 GPs one each, GP/Anatolian female, and a Karakachan Male.
The bigger (by a smidge) is ready, can leave her in the front yard and she stays put but will announce any arrivals and be at the ready. The other wanders more but we are over the all day adventures.
We have to finish the cattle learning once we use the lower pastures again this spring.
