Dog poop in the yard question..

We've got two minature Poodles, and if I don't clean up periodicallythey tend to "pick up" after themselves too, unfortunately. You can always tell when they've been out eating poopcicles...........especially when they want to lick your face!

When we move to our place in the country, I won't be picking anything up tho, it's all fertilizer there........

I was once told that with a little bacon grease, all dogs will clean up after themselves... yuk.

My Dad called them turd tumblers,#*it worms and we were forbid to kill them or we would be doing their jobs!!!animal turds belong on the ground!!!them bugs gotta eat to.

Mjarrels has the right idea....go out and drip a little bacon or chicken grease on the piles and the neighborhood dogs will clean your yard for you! The take out your pup and when he finishes his business just dribble a little a grease on it and BINGO...prroblem gone

I solved the problem all together. I trained my two dogs to go in the neighbors yard! Go over, poop, and come right back.

I really try and be nice to my neighbors,,sometimes its hard,,brought a little beagle back to where it came from just the other day,but,I like beagles,,,I've run off more than I've shot,but every now and than,,its been a few years now though,maybe I'm softening up,,[or the dog pop. is getting less around here?],,,thingy

i used to have a big chocolate lab that would sometimes take
care of his own piles.. i always tried to discourage it, but you
can't watch them 100 % of the time,

anyway, I moved out a couple years ago,, and the ex got
to keep the dog, and have since moved down towards
MD.... now I get told that the dog has contacted some
E-coli,, and I wonder if the bad habit has caused him
to get sick. I think he will be ok, but I guess he's not the
same brawny dog he used to be.

so beware E-Coli laden piles!

(I never thought it was a good idea for them to
do that anyways)
