I'd suppose they're attitude is, they're taking it in stride
Wife said when she takes them out that one of them starts to take long drawn out inhales, as though she (dog) was asthmatic and unable to take a breath in. I had never seen that until last night.
Were walking them and Chloe (dog) DID start to take longgggg single draws in as though there was an obstruction in airpath. It lasted about 10 seconds and was over.
What happened? I'm not sure. The only thing I can think is she just prior to doing this was over in the longer grass of the field (I cut part of field and at the cut line you have 2" grass, verses 18" tall stuff). She likes to go into the tall stuff "for her business". As last night was the first time I've seen it, I'm not sure yet if there is a pattern involved with the tall grass (allergies perhaps?). The wife unfortunatly NEVER tries to associate reactions with prior behaviors so if Chloe ALWAYS sneezed after the tall grass, the wife simply woudln't pay attention to that timing.
Today is Chloe's first day of observation in the taller grass (hopefully with camera in hand). She's ALWAYS gone into the taller stuff so if it's allergies then it has to be something current and not always present as this has never happened to her and 'them' in general.
Too bad they can't speak and simply tell us their ailments
