Yes, get the Qiuck Attach now. I learned the hard way and did not. It was not even a year before I wanted pallet forks, etc. and bought the quick attach and converted my bucket over. The converting was a pain in the a**. When I purchased mine I thought all I needed was a bucket. Wrong!

I bought the new bucket and the SSQA adaptor, and then converted the original bucket to SSQA. I still have it and use it on my Kioti as a "beater bucket"

I bought the new Kubota SSQA adapter and a new SSQA plate and converted mine over. Shortly after I started cutting off the pin on brackets I found your post from 2011 when you did it. I wish I had looked for it before I started! It all worked out OK but it was a lot of work.

Let me add another vote for getting the SSQA on the FEL and getting the rear remotes NOW. You will want them at some point. If you ever want to use a grapple or pallet forks, you will want the SSQA.

My Kioti came standard with one set of rear remotes, and I had the dealer add a second set. I now wish I had a 3rd set. I run my grapple off of one set, and the hydraulic scarifiers on my box blade off the the 2nd set. I wish I had a 3rd set for a hydraulic toplink. I'll probably buy a diverter valve setup from Brian (MtViewRanch) instead.

Even of you don't have other attachments such as forks the quick attach is nice. I often drop of the bucket for better visibility and easier maneuvering when mowing trails. It is also better for storing the tractor in my small workshop/
garage.

Get the ssqa! you will be happy you did. And you will want wheel spacers if there is any chance for tire chains. Load the tires.

Guess I'm the only one who doesn't want SSQA or extra remotes. :D

We will corrupt you one of these days:D. Who knows if you come down here I will have you on my HST Kioti stacking rocks on the wall with the "wicked" grapple. And don't tell me you wouldn't have fun.
