Have to be careful theses days using terms like that for a common tool...it can be considered a derogatory racial slur...!

The Wife calls me a "Tool" all the time. If I've done something really dumb the name is "Fool Tool".

I have one of the Makita cordless angle grinders and I love it. Started tearing down our old corral last weekend and used it to cut hundreds of cattle panel staples and a couple of gate hangers and it made the job so much easier. Also use it to cut off bad bolt heads, sharpen shredder blades, grind off rust, and many other things.

I have one of the cordless makitas too. While it is awesome for "in the field" type of stuff or if you're just too lazy to drag around a cord, it can't be compared to a corded one in my opinion. Not enough power and runs out of battery too fast. But I guess thats why you have both, the corded and cordless.

Since air tools were invented, and paint ball made reasonable capacity liquid CO2 easy to carry, Steel has no chance ....The harder the better!

Locks are for honest people.

I'm not familiar with a 'covered staple'. Would you elaborate please.

We use Ingersoll locks, staple or shackle, same thing, you can't get in with bolt cutters and a grinder is harder to use too.
