I said, "Dad, is it dry enough to drive through that pasture?"

He said, "Sure, should be by now"

50 ft past the gate I'm down to the axles.

Hey, on the plus side, you have good looking dirt/mud. See?, always a silver lining.

It's should be dry, (except for that wet spot 50 feet past the gate).

Is he still laughing!

Maybe he was just looking for something to do with his box blade after the ground dries up.

If dad had said no, you would have probably said, "I think the ground will hold up, I'm gonna try it and see". Am I right??

Try harder next time. Not even any mud on the sides of the truck. Not really stuck until that pretty white truck is more brown than white!

Mom and dad were off picking pecans with my daughters so I walked to the barn to get a tractor and pulled it out myself. My dad drove by later on the gravel road that runs up to the gate and said "Looks like someone got stuck here" and laughed.

I have a turn around loop through the woods behind the barn. One time I sunk the F-250 to the axles there. Ever since then whenever someone asks me if they can drive through there I say "sure, should be dry enough by now" I guess I just want to share the wealth.

That's too bad. After getting you stuck, your dad should have had to get you out.;)

Hah!

I did the opposite to a guy that helps me out. He asked if it was OK to go get the round bales in the back. I said no. It's still wet.

Guess where his tractor is stuck?
