I am proud to say that I took the coupler apart and resealed with PTFE paste, let sit overnight, and today had no leaks... Yeah!!! Thanks to all for the input. Now if I can figure out the cylinder lengths and get that part correct...
I am guessing the cylinder lengths can be different from one box scraper or blade to another? I measured my top link and came up with 17 1/2 closed and I think 35 open? Side link was 17 if I remember correctly... Does a 2 inch cylinder seem appropriate? Anything larger seems like overkill.
Lastly, what is the coupler type/name. If I go into the the hose shop to get hosed (sorry couldn't resist the joke), what type of couplers do I tell them I have? Are they a standard type?
Thanks to everyone.
