Down to two choices... 3430hstc or MF 1533 W CAB

I can't speak to the MF tractor. Like others have stated, they are not very popular in my area. I rented one once from a local dealer and it seemed to perform OK. My only "knock" would be my disappointment with their paint. The tractor I used had very few hours on it, but the paint was badly faded. The tractor looked old beyond its years. The tractor did not have a cab.

As far a a Kubota L3430 with cab, I purchased one two years ago and all I can say...It's the best CUT I ever operated. The cab is tight, quiet, cool in summer, toasty in winter, and roomy for a big guy. Oh...the paint on it and my other eight year old Kubota is still like new.

I GOT THE KUBOTA!

I just wanted to thank everyone for the input. I got a chance to test drive the MF 1533 and here is what I think.

1533 impressions:

The cab is very nice with a couple more inches of headroom than the kubota. Quality of the cab is about the same as the kubota. The 8x8 shuttle shift works good but for mowing might not be the best way to go. Quality compared to the kubota just seemed not as good. The Mf seemed to be a little lighter than the kubota too. I'm not saying trhe MF is that far off quality wise but it just did not look as "solid" if you know what I mean.



All thiis being said, I bought the Kubota 3430hstc and could not be happier. The tractor is a dream to mow with! I still can't get over how good the A/C works, I find myself having to direct the vents away from my face to keep from getting the numb chin effect. I'm sure the MF is a great tractor but the kubota just seemd to me the way to go given all the factors and the fact that I would have to pay extra to get the MF.
