I'd start with the first one. It's closer. But I really think you need to expand your searches farther than Craigslist and eBay. Try equipment trader and fastline.
A machine this size is going to take something to move. It's not a full load for a semi and it's really too much for a 1-ton and gn. I'd say your going to be in the $4/mile range to move. Coming from Texas to NY can get pricy. Moving a couple hundred miles is justifiable.
