Buying Advice DPF Question about B3350

Looking at an SN 2014 B3350 and I've heard that there have been issues with the regen and haven't heard whether or not kubota ever resolved the issues with these DPFs. Any idea if the software updates ever resolved the too frequent need to park regen? Are the new b3350's any better?

Jury is still out but it appears not.

As an owner of a 2018 B3350, I have posted frequently both here and on the orange forum about this topic.

Personally I would walk away. Sure there are people that have had good luck with them, but there are a lot of horror stories and lost money. My dealer won't even sell one. They steer you towards the B2650.
So unless you like gambling with your money, I would get the new updated LX 3310. New injection and regen systems. Should be as reliable as the other bigger Kubota emission motors.

Software updates have cured problems with the B3350s we service so far. But other results are not so good and I would not be a buyer.

IMHO- I would stay away from the B3350. That tractor has gained a lot of unwanted attention over the years.

Alright you fine folks have convinced me. Now the wife and I are looking into the L3301 or the B2650. We would like to get the the HST.

Our property is 5 acres and has some big trees and thick brush. We would like to get a box scraper and brush hog to start and eventually also get a tiller and post hole digger down the road. No crazy hills, but some grade to contend with.

Recommendations between those two models from you fine folks?

You should look into the new LX3310 30hp 27hp pto. Basily it's B3350 with a better engine (common rail fuel system). I have a B2650 with loaded tires and am happy with it. I use it to do the most dangerous thing you can do with a FEL. Clean out drainage ditches while tractor is leaning downhill. The extra HP will be useful for bush hogging. Only have 4' tiller, use it on a BX.

I would recommend the L series if you plan to operate a rough cut rotary mower over 4' in width.

Though the B3350 and forthcoming LX3310 have the power to operate a 5' cutter, the weight of most will exceed the recommended rating of the tractor.
