Thanks..... guess that's the fix I need to research next.
I'd start by cleaning the needle valve as that is the less intrusive way to go.If it still drifts down with the knob fully closed, then the seals on the piston for the 3 pt lift cylinder are bad.

If the flow control valve is closed and the 3 pt still drops, then the issue is bad seals on the piston. Even if it wasn't fully seated as you say (extremely unlikely to happen), the cylinder wouldn't drop as long as it had good seals.
