draft control

I've been reading alot about draft control here. I didn't know what it was, and the search function provided some pretty good answers...
Now the question. While i don't believe that I need draft control for anything I do, and I'm sure my B-7800 doesn't have it, do any Kubota models have this feature???

Yes, there are Kubota tractors with draft control. I don't know specifically which ones, but probably all the M series tractors and I believe it was at least an option on all the Grand L series. I have added one to my L3400. You might ask and see if it is an option for your tractor, it isn't too hard to install yourself.

The draft control is used mostly for plowing fields and sometimes for grading blades.

I have an L3400 also, and i was wondering were you got your draft control and what exactly does it do. Could you please let me know what it cost you. I could probably hook it up myself if i know exactly what to get.

It's pretty much standard on all the M Tractors except the M4800 and MX5000 where it is optional. Don't know about the L-tractors. I would have no idea how much it would cost to install it aftermarket. They usually sense the load through the toplink. When the load increases the lower links raise. So, I have no idea how big of an ordeal it would be either. I have yet to put mine to use but a subsoiler, moldboard plow, and box blade with scarifiers are one my "wish list".

The draft control feature on my L4630GSTC, was an option that cost an additional $400 when I purchased the tractor at the end of 04. The kit is from Kubota and the instructions are normally in the kit. Mine was installed by the dealer. It can not be any more difficult than the rear wiper that they forgot to order and I had to install.
