3-Point Hitch Draft control

I have an M5040 with FEL. When using a boxblade and pushing trash in reverse the lift arms will move up when pressure is applied leaving pieces behind. Is this a draft setting problem or what? I have tried the draft control lever up and down with no changes. It also seems to be more sensitive when in forward pulling trash etc.

3 Ph does not have down pressure... it floats

try extending your top link... and maybe add some weight to the box blade

I think what you mean is "position control" ..it allows you to set the level of the 3ph but it as mentioned it is still going to float...the position lever lets you hold it up anywhere between all the way up and all the way down...
