Drag blade for rear-mount snowblower

Side plates on are my to-do list! Maybe sometime this summer. I'll be sure to post pics. Nothing fancy, just something to box the snow in.

I was thinking a good thing about your ToolCat's front mount is you can turn your front wheels sharp and move the drag snow to the side into the next pass - handy.

That's exactly what I do. Keep moving the snow over and blowing it away.

I'm actually working on a new project right now. Here is the link:

I wanted a cleaner job for snow removal. Something for ice and those little 1" flurries. (my customers are fussy!) It combines a drag blade and a rotary broom. Check out the prototype!

I like it - does that John Deere have a FEL? could the broom be mounted so it sweeps into the bucket? Might need to sweep going backward for best cleanup. If the broom was mounted to outriggers from the loader arms it could lift with the loader but not tilt when the bucket dumps.
We'll be looking for progress pics. Have fun ;)

Up here we call the blowers with that style of flighting Detson's as most were made by that company and rebadged to other names.
