I am guessing, from the previous machine. So far ano leaks anywhere on the blower. I only used it for an hour, but it worked fine. I needed more than 12 inches of heavy wet snow to really test it :D

Mike is right and I apologize for pulling your leg a little there.:)
Not to detract from your thread at all ... you have certainly done the right thing in changing the fluid and looking into further maintenance. All good things. I was reflecting in the suttle wisdom of your statement and how true it really is Probably not a big deal, but TBN has encouraged me to sweat the details.
I have found myself paying attention to detail in an **** sort of way and that was a humorous attempt at describing it. Like I said, it's a good thing and certainly better than the alternative.
