I am guessing you are referring to the three point hitch lift capacity?If so,it is 3860# at the lift points and 2756# at 24 inches out from the lift points.I got this from the Kubota Canada web site.

I think it is pulled on the drawbar. Need to know the drawbar pull rating. The weight is not the main concern, the force needed to pull it when it is in the ground is what you need to know.

That's what I was thinking too. Most drills are pull-type rather than mounted on the three point. I don't think you'll have a problem with it. Of course, it'll depend on the soil conditions and whether you're trying to pull it up hill. Your machine is pretty heavy, which will help, but you have industrial tires, which aren't designed for this application. I still think it'll work fine, but I think traction will be your limiting factor. Having a set of chains as backup, and/or filling the bucket with gravel would help.

I pull a Truax grass drill with my m 6800 Kubota. It's really heavy, probably 4000 lbs. ( I attached it to a three point hitch on a 90 horse Kubota and it lifted my front wheels off the ground.). But I don't use it in the 3 point mode, but rather with a draw bar as you stated. With the draw bar, it's no problem at all, more like pulling a trailer. The resistance with the hydraulics down and coulters engaging the soil is very minimal. I guess in really muddy or loose soil, you could bog down, but you probably wouldn't plant in those conditions anyway. Or on steep hills, it could get away from you. But in normal conditions, it should be really simple. It's not like pulling a disc harrow, but more like a trailer.

Yep, the drawbar rating, Kubota has the listing/rating on the three point. I would be using it on level ground. ARCO states the minimum tractor size for the drill at 60hp, and most tractors of the 70 or 80hp size barely weight as much as the L45.
The other thing I wasn't sure of is the resistance on the coulters, I'm glad you mentioned that.
We are doing the no-till method of farming so there is quite a bit of debris on the surface.
