By the way, for a "redneck paint booth" it sure looks nice with that nice clean concrete floor!

Me and a broom got to be good buddy's during this process /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif it was constance keeping the area as clean as I could

it looks great, like a puller with those big tires

Kinda look as if you could climb a tree with the thing /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Are you ready to go into business now in Asia tractor repair?

I think not /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif, but ya know I learned an awful lot about this little tractor and how it's put together in this process and wouldn't think twice about splittin' it for a clutch or guttin' the engine for an overhaul.....well I think I would anywho!

Where's the picture of the proud owner with his newly renovated jewel??

Belive me....the tractor is a lot better lookin' than I am /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

You didn't comment I don't think but I am sure it runs great too after all that TLC?

Ya know, I thought bleeding the fuel system was going to be a pain....all I had to do was bleed from the tank to the filter, across the filter and to the injector pump and it poped right off! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I wan't sure about the hyd. pump with it being dry for so long. Filled the tranny and it did take a bit for the 3PT. lift to make some movement but all I did was move the lever back and forth for a bit and it came to life.

Your skills surpass mine.

Randy, this was all learned on the fly sorta speek, I didn't even own a compressor and paint gun before I started this and I've never so much as held a air spray gun, belive me if I can do it anyone can.......just gotta get through the learnin' curve! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Guys, thanks again for the comments and following along, there were times I thought I may have been driving you-all nuts with pic's /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

As the say to the weekend golfer after a 300 yd. drive down the middle, "GIT A JOB!!". You have entirely too much spare time on your hands. Great work.

Re: dressin\' up an old YM187

Whiskey,

Great looking tractor. In fact the whole tutorial was outstanding, including the trial and error periods where you stated not good enough and had to re-sand and paint certain parts over again.

I know a little about paint and restoration work and I think it is an outstanding finished product. And for your very first effort it appears to be flawless.

Great job. Regards. Mark

Whiskey, great job on the tractor! Thanks for all of the updates and pictures, I really enjoyed following this thread as I'm sure many others did.

You are a bad influence though, I was at Lowe's over the weekend and happen to walk past the air tools and just had to stop and check out paint guns. Never was even remotely intersted before... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
