Drill Bits - What is best?

honestly, I tried a few- I find that the best drill bits are the sharp ones that can drill a few deep holes in steel. If it won't even with frequent sharpening then its crap bits. you just need to learn the art of sharpening them yourselves. you tube has a few videos on this.

Which keeps its edge the longest?
Does brand matter?
